The PAD project was featured in "Check it out,"  a Fox News series about science and technology that's making people's lives better.  

Reporter Douglas Kennedy interviewed Diana Vega, Prof. Toni Barstis, and Prof. Marya Lieberman, and a camera crew captured the activity of researchers at Saint Mary's College as they made some PADs and demonstrated how they work.  Diana described the problems caused by cough syrup adulterated with antifreeze in Panama.  The piece was shot at the Science Building at Saint Mary's College.
