Chemistry major Ivan Leung presented a poster entitled "Measuring urinary iodide using a paper analytical device" at the 243rd National ACS meeting in Dallas, Texas.  This presentation describes several innovations in part per billion measurement on a paper test card, and the University of Notre Dame has filed a provisional patent covering the new technology.
